Return Policy

  • Returns and exchanges will only be accepted within 30 days of the invoice date.  Exceptions to this may occur during holidays or by obtaining approval from Brave New World.
  • All purchases of Spring and Summer apparel, including but not limited to, Ladies’ and Men’s Swimwear and Ladies’, Men’s and Kids’ clothing will be considered FINAL after July 31.
  • Shipping charges are NOT refundable. Brave New World will be responsible for return shipping on erroneously fulfilled orders.
  • Surfboard sales are FINAL and non-returnable.
  • Sales of discounted and clearance items are FINAL and non-returnable.
  • All international sales are FINAL and non-returnable.
  • All items must be unused or in like-new condition with tags still attached or included.
  • Clothing and shoes must be unworn and in original packaging. Unworn means other than trying on to determine fit.
  • Skateboard completes, skateboard decks, wheels and parts must be returned unused and in original packaging. Skateboards, wheels and parts that have been used are non-returnable.
  • Any Custom Complete Skateboards or Decks that have been grip-taped or bodyboards that have been deck plugged are NEVER RETURNABLE and considered final sale.
  • Videos, CD's and DVD's must be unopened and in original packaging.
  • All Sunglasses must be in original packaging and be in unused (not worn except for determining fit). 
  • Exceptions will exist if there is a manufacturer defect.

Returned merchandise is subject to inspection before issuing a refund or exchange. Once product condition is determined, we will issue a refund or exchange the product.

If you would like to return your item(s), please make a copy of your receipt and state your reason for the return on said receipt, and mail your package back via UPS, FedEx or USPS, insured against loss in transit, to:

We are not responsible for the return shipping so for your protection use a traceable and insured shipping method for your return (no COD’s will be accepted).

 

STORE RETURNS

Merchandise purchased online can be returned to any one of our three retail locations for EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT ONLY.  Refunds can only be processed through bravesurf.com, thus returns for refund must be shipped back to the aforementioned address.

EXCHANGES

Due to the changing nature of our inventory, Bravesurf.com may not be able to accommodate exchanges. If you have an item that you wish to return for another item, please contact us at info@bravesurf.com or by calling 732-899-7874 ext. 19. We will check on the availability of the item and/or size you wish to make an exchange for. Then, simply return the item to the above address for the exchange or, if the item/size is out of stock, a full refund. Shipping fees cannot be refunded. Please note that it may take up to 5 business days from receipt of your return to process your refund.

 

WARRANTIES

Warranties against defects in materials and/or workmanship, on most items, are established and honored by the manufacturer – in most cases claims can be made through the manufacturer directly. Please refer to their web sites and/or documentation included with your purchase.

 

REFUNDS

All returned items will be credited back to the credit/debit card used for the order once the item(s) is received. Please allow up 5 business days for credit refunds to be given. Every credit card has different posting cycles; please allow 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE

If you received damaged or incorrect merchandise please give us a call or email us at your earliest convenience. If it’s determined that we made a mistake, we will generate a return label (emailed to you) and instructions for sending the item(s) back for exchange or refund.

If your order arrived damaged, please contact us immediately so we may begin processing a claim with the shipping company (i.e., UPS or FedEx). Please hold onto all boxes and packing material, as these will be inspected for said claim.
